I have been sea fishing for over 17 YEARS, and have anglers from all over Northern Ireland and UK as well as from mainland Europe including Belgium, France, Germany and Holland as repeat customers.
You can book my boat with confidence for your friends, club or your company day out and be assured of a quality, clean, fast (24 knots powered by twin engines), fully licensed and insured boat with the best of facilities such as on deck toilet compartment, wheelchair access door, stainless steel safety rails, heated wheelhouse and full seating for all 12 passengers.
As your Skipper i work keenly to get you out to good fishing marks regardless of distance and to assure you of a day out with a difference. Remember if you can book another boat cheaper theres probably a reason for it, don't get a shock on the day!
I will use my knowledge of the ground to bring you to places that the rest of the Skippers only talk about. Places that hold Tope, mulitple Irish specimen Spurdog 12~ 19lb, 22lb Ling and multiple 10~16lb pollock. 2009 produced over 36 species of fish landed onboard!
Portrush is ideally located on the North Coast of Northern Ireland with very close proximity to good fishing grounds. We offer a selection of trips depending on your preference and experience ranging from offshore wrecks and pinnicales to the spurdog and tope grounds.

The main difference is 8 hour leaves more time to fish several different marks etc, all shark and tope fishing is 8 hour trips, as are donegal wrecks and middle bank pollock.

From April to October mackerel can be easily caught off Portrush for use as bait. Spurdog are best caught on calamari or cuttlefish. Worm baits and peeler crab can also be effective particularly for ground fishing. There is a tackle shop within 200 feet of the boat that can provide most baits for anglers who don't have a local source.
As a guide a box of calamari costs about £4.00; frozen ammo mackerel cost about £3.00 a pair; and rag and lugworm about £3.00 for 1/4lb.
